New Tenba Cooper Series

I was a bit taken back by the price. For us Canadians, once you do the dollar conversion it becomes really painful in a hurry. Likely not in the cards for me as I can't justify the cost.

Tenba makes some good bags. I have a DNA 8 and like it a lot. In my opinion the new Cooper series is an incremental improvement over the DNA line. Whether its worth the extra money for the "improvements" is a different story. I personally do not care for the Switch bags. That being said, why is it that Tenba (or others) can not settle on a fastening/latch system instead changing it with every new release? The Fidlock system on the DNA is in my opinion a very good method - quick and easy to open and close with one hand even with gloves on. If they added a silencer for the velcro on the DNA bags it would be almost perfect. With the Switch series they introduced a different magnetic closure with no velcro. Now they have a "quiet" velcro with no magnets. Previous to that they had the plastic clips + velcro on their messenger bags. Can we not just pick one and make it a standard. There are only so many ways to close and secure a bag 😕
