Thank you guys. I will not rush things with using this lens. I have exam papers to grade this week. The lens looks much smaller than the Summicron with goggles. I have a black lens hood by Leica for 35/50.

I am impressed by the build quality of the lens. Going by the images that have been posted (from such a lens), I expect it to be an excellent lens.

M4 + 8 Element Replica + Portra 400. Very happy with this lens, tonally and resolution wise it's a perfect match for my Rigid Summicron. My 12585 hood works perfectly with it:

Such a lens goes very well with PORTRA film. Same applies to Rigid Summicron and PORTRA.

I would love to post more photos for you all to see since I got the lens earlier than all of you, like jonmanjiro - however the weather has been bad (rain) nearly every day, also - I'm home schooling my kids because of COVID - so at the end of the day, I'm exhausted but I will slap you all with a heap of photographs once I'm done. That's how it tends to be with me.
