Yes, all the lenses will have the front ring for engraving. I am sorry for confusing you. The brass lens in the second picture is the first version prototype. This picture is an example only to show you all three paint options. They are not the final retail version.

Hi Chris, you can choose either in red paint or white paint for the custom engraving. The default color for engraving will be in red paint.

I have plenty of black and chrome lenses and my only brass ones are my Petzvals.

Plus it is a fact that people with brass lenses are extremely good looking, charming, intelligent and modest.

The maker told me that there will be a special coating applied on the brass body to make it looks better and prevent it from oxidation. I will ask the maker for more details about this.
