Seems that many factories are extending the New Year holiday break because of the virus outbreak.

The company's based in Beijing, but it sounds like they're subcontracting components from multiple places.

I want to say what a tremendous job Kevin is doing promoting and helping to distribute this lens, as well as say a big thank you to Mr Zhou for conceiving and producing a really quite remarkable project. Mr Zhou shows a lot of initiative, dedication and resourcefulness.
He and Kevin have made many of us here excited and proud to participate in this bespoke, small-run, unique and unprecedented exercise. You only have to contrast Mr Zhou's whole approach and method to the general crowd funded project or even to the optical products of boutique makers in Japan and China.

Have got my black paint copy few day ago. Below has some shot for reference.

In my opinion, the IQ is very similar a original one. Specially, the vignette is same as 'copy & paste' when aperture set between F2.0-F2.8.
But it has been optimized a shaperness, contrast is a little higher than original, and highlight handling is better than. Build quality is awesome, the lens is very beautiful.
I think you guys will love it after received.

PS: All film were processed in the same time and same tank.

It would be a FIRST if Mr. Zhou can make a Summicron-like 35mm lens in the
Leica thread mount that focuses to 0.7meters. He did mention the possibility.
I want one and will keep watching this thread!

Yes, this is a huge thread, but a 0.7m close focus LTM replica was discussed earlier. I hope they decide to do 0.7m instead of just 1m.

No, Sally is the yellow chick. I recognize the character somehow, I’m sure I’ve seen in during my time in China but it’s not from line friends.

This was the closest that I could find but the color isn’t the same. The links I found suggest maybe it started with candy in it.
