The more I see, the more I am so impressed with this lens and the entire 8 element replica project. I can't wait to use it! Thanks for posting these latest images Kevin!

On following of me (the first black paint copy in Macau S.A.R.), on behalf of my friend - Pazu Ng who had got the first silver chrome copy in Macau S.A.R.:
I am so honour to receive a Summicron 35/2 replica (Chrome Edition), which is the first one in Macau S.A.R. .
It is such a fine product with elegant and elaborate finishing. I am especially fond of its metal cover, where you can find a carved-out structure of Old 8-Element that is really eye-catching.
Being made from pure copper, its weight also makes me feel great.
The moment when you are attaching the lens to a camera body, specially that sound of “click” of infinity lock, what an amazing experience!
We can feel the passion and love of the artisans who “copied” this replica. With non-stop improvement and development, I believe a perfect product will be born in the future.
Let’s wait for product testing.

On behalf of my friend - Pazu Ng:
Mr. Zhou, the leader of the project, crafted replicas of Summicron 35/2 with heart.
The lens looks stunning when pairing with Leica M2.
Today, during my lunch break, I try half roll of black and white films. I decide to measure light manually, as the light meter isn’t here with me.
I am looking forward to processing the first roll of films.
