[New test photos released] Leica Summicron 35/2 Eight Element copy made in China

They made a grave error when coming up with the name: "Light Lens Lab"
Could be pronounced as 'Right Lens Lab'. That sounds allright.
But. You know, we in Europe are better in certain things.

The name should have been "Lightz" 🙄

Sorry to rain on your parade but this cliché must die. Mandarin speakers usually have no problems distinguishing r and l in English, Japanese speakers and AFAIK speakers of some Chinese dialects may, but nowadays nearly everyone in China can speak Mandarin... the French, Dutch and German r sounds are another issue, but not in question in this case.

I would also like to have my name on the list for one, can be either black or chrome. I have already one of the original ones that had the attached SM--> adapter, and it is a favorite lens.

RE the dot color:

Maybe every company have have its own dot color. To date it's been Red for Leica, Blue for Zeiss; so that leaves green, yellow, and black up for grabs.

I have worked in China, and some (think of it maybe only the project lead) people of my team did, while others didn't. I agree, Japanese and afaik Korean speakers do confound the two.
I ended up speaking a bit in between in my English.

Apart from my joke on the r/l, Lightz is a good name with the intended pun, and I would hope they have the rightz on that name for future use. By the way I have the original V1. Hence my interest. It is a great lens.
