Field curvature is influenced by the sensor cover glass. It is flat, but its optical properties are different from air that would be there in front of film. At the center, the light hits it at a different angle and has a shorter way to travel through the glass than in the corners. I'd like to see more tests on film, those posted by jonmanjiro a little while ago don't show this corner thing so clearly.
Regarding the question of how precise a copy it is, I wonder if the maker could get exactly the same sorts of glass or just very similar ones and then adjusted the lenses accordingly...?

That is all true also retinax. I would expect all the folk here that are looking at my samples and jonmanjiro's to expect my a7 to be inaccurate, but at least would show us something. The M10 would be far better than anything else. Hope to show everyone my Adox CMS 20ii when I develop them. Right now, the weather is terrible here in South Australia for any enjoyable, slow paced photography.

Many thanks Ed (and Jon).

I have a genuine 3.5/2.5 shade tucked away in a drawer. I hadn't realised it would fit my LTM 3.5/1.8. I will have to put it to use!

To come back on topic...note to Kevin. I missed out on the first batch and have emailed you some time ago about ordering in the next batch. I appreciate you are no doubt very busy, but would like to join the queue at some point. Thanks.

Hi James, I am sorry that I was not able to reply to your email. I might need to pick a day to reply to every single email soon. I will assure you that you will get an update about the second run. But that will only happen after we fulfilled the first batch, which Mr. Zhou and his team are still working very hard on the first batch.

I just want everyone to know that if you send me an email request for placing an order for the second batch, I will send an update to each of you with further information in the future.

Best,
Kevin

Ed, the lens hood for Nikkor 35mm looks so nice. I also have an LTM Nikkor 35 1.8. I really want to get one for my lens. And my Nikkor-N 50 1.1 need a lens hood too... When I first learned about Mr. Abrahamsson's Nikkor lens hood project, it was too late, and it is very difficult to find them now. The funny thing is when the hood was on sale, I hadn't even started my photography hobby. I was still in high school at that time...
