[New test photos released] Leica Summicron 35/2 Eight Element copy made in China

Well I received my email from Kevin. I feel like the contestant who just had their name called on "The Price is Right".

Well my time has come also. I just saw a message from Kevin that was sent to me last week.
I just need some my follow through information. Been waiting patiently since Dec.8 2019.
How exciting!
Arthur

Do you think it is still possible to order one of these lenses? I presume Kevin has a huge backlog of orders and e-mails to deal with. I have sent him an e-mail, but, as is to be expected, he has not replied, at least not yet.

I'm looking forward to a black paint version sometime soon. I completed the order form on 12/8/19 and heard from Kevin on 8/17/20. I'm all paid up and patiently waiting for more news.

Should anyone do something now about this auction?
The second auction https://www.wholesaleanythings.com//archive/id/ldnxtvwuttxuz2v.html?user=google&cc=it
refers to the ebay auction! It is very strange.
Popularity - 951 views, 135.9 views per day, 7 days on eBay. Super high amount of views. 0 sold.
Price - Avg: $7263.00, Low: $4842.00, High: $12105.00. Best quality when compared to PicClick similar items.
Seller - 326+ items sold. 0% negative feedback. Great seller with very good positive feedback and over 50 ratings.

In the mean time still there. $8.887 now. Can’t one put anything on a custom (fake) website?

The LLL lens is a bit of a porker..
43% heavier than the Summicron..
Dont know if thats a good thing or not..
Dont need the extra weight..but it may be welcome too for solidity and stability..

I have STILL not finished my first two rolls with this lens so no results to post, but I do like the solid feel and handling. It's been on my M4 for a month now and I thoroughly enjoy the ergonomics. I had and really loved a Summaron 2.8, which weighs in at 210g, so the LLL lens feels very "familiar" in the hand.

Kevin just shared with me the photo of my lens - a beautiful black paint with the serial 500122 (to be shipped soon). Quite strange, as I saw all lenses posted here had xxx/500 or xxx/xxx, but mine has no “/“ sign. Maybe it differs by batch - I did not bother to ask Kevin as he is very busy...

WOW! Congrats. They may switched to a 500XXX numbering system. Show us the lens when you get it.

I will when I get it. In the meantime here is crop from the picture I received from Kevin (I cropped out other lenses with serials that were next to mine):
