G'day folks. (Points if you can guess which sunburnt counrty I'm from...)

I'm new to this great site as well and have popped up a few images in a gallery from a CV 15, CV 25, Konica Hexanon 50, and Minolta Rokkor 90.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your great "decisive moments" and sharing some of my own. I am really enjoying using a camera that gives me time to think before the shot.

Welcome John,

NE US is under a winter storm warning this morning, so a little sunburn would feel good to us just about now.

What camera do you mount those fine lenses on?

Hi rover

For the last couple of years I've used a Bessa L and in the last couple of months a Bessa R3a. I had th eM - mounts for a good 5 months just waiting for the R3a and am finally using them now. I do enjoy the simplicity of the L I must admit.

Hope the sun peeks through sometime!

Welcome to the forum John 🙂 (what I would give to be where you are now, instead of all snowed in up here)...only advanatage is, I can always use the cold weather as an excuse to have a drop of Glenmorangie in the evenings..... 😉

Cheers,

Meakin

Welcome John. Looking forward to seeing some of your shots. If you can bottle some of that sunshine, send it our way as we have 4-8 inches of snow predicted. Actually, I don't mind it. It is winter, we are susposed to have snow. I do like four seasons. Again, welcome.

Ah another RFF victim ..eh I meant member...from Melbourne. What a small world.

Welcome John. That's a nice set of gear you have. Mind if Steve (st3ph3nm) and I fondle them a bit? 😀

Welcome to the forum John! 🙂 Yes I know we're supposed to get snow in the winter, but we've already had quite a lot and its so cold that it doesn't melt. On the bright side - I do get a bit of extra exercise shovelling! 😀

Thanks all for your warm welcome from (generally) cold climes!

Kris & Steve - great to know also that there are some other Melbournites out there who know what a "Voigtlander" is...or a "Cosina Voigtlander" if you will!

Welcome, and I might add I have a rich array of rationales for a bit of single malt at the end of the day.

Ted

Hello John! Welcome to the club and I must say that you know how to use superwide lens very well!
