ok, maybe a bit late, ;)...

for those interested...

come up with one way to help yourself focus on photography and improving yours between now and the next new year.

Regular photography:
• Shoot more.
• Develop quicker.
• Scan quicker.
• Print more.

Underwater photography:
• Get a lot better in general.
• Train diving skills more for better photographing opportunities.
• Develop my style.

Gear side:
• No film body purchase allowed, unless current ones break.
• One 28mm or 35mm M/LTM lens purchase allowed.
• No lens sale allowed.
• Possibly one mirrorless system purchase allowed.
(these won't apply to underwater photography, which I'm still building a system.)

It could sound terrible in a place like this, but for the next few months my plan is to shoot less ! Yes, shoot less, edit more, print more. Finalize the works started in the past. Preparing a real portfolio, working on the exhibition I'm planning for october (again, editing and printing almost done, just refining it). A couple of ideas about books...
It will be an interesting time...

Try to get keepers with 12 50mm lenses in one year - see my signature.

It's harder than you think - and shows that photography and gear are kind of orthogonal.

sooo much to do

sooo much to do

Post more to the gallery
Orgnize my work
Learn to use my current software
Learn to focus on cameras use (too many cameras and not enough quality time with each)
That said maybe thin the herd
Live long enough to get these done:)

Yesterday I held my very first exhibition and it runs for a month. Sold one shot yesterday and hoping to improve on that.
Advertised at the exhibition that I'm looking for future photo projects to shoot. May bring in some ideas for shooting.
Gonna sell some gear. Not that much left really, just an RX100, GRD IV and TT Citywalker 10 bag. Settled with shooting my Fujis and hopefully resist buying more bags.
Met a lady in a local restaurant who has asked me to volunteer to show my photography at a charity for the homeless and maybe do a talk.
