First shot with the new Zeiss Sonnar 50mm. Only got the chance to shoot the dog for a minute but I think I'm going to like it!

Yes, I like this lens too. I didn't use it for a while but gave it a try again after seeing JSPhoto's beautiful pic of the dog. Now its starting to grow on me. Just need to get over the learning curve to account for the known focussing issues. Here are a few pics from last night's Norah Jones concert with the M8. Wish I was closer...

Here's the 100% crops. One is shot with ISO 320 and the other at 640 converted using Aperture. Photoshop gives slightly sharper results and different colors. ISO320 noise is ok but 640 is horrible. Noise ninja might be able to fix it but I don't have it.
The ISO320 shot of the guitarist (to the left of Norah) looks sharper than Norah even though they are the same distance away. Might be harsh lighting....no sure.
I don't know how to load full size pics.
