Well, i had an oppurtunity to straight trade my MP for an mint 8.2... I jumped on it. Having never used a digital M before it was a bit of a gamble.
It has only been a few days, but I am very happy. The menu is so simple and thank god there are not 394 pages in the manual booklet. The photos thus far have been more than acceptable and I see myself on the learning curve for months to come.

Congratulations on the swap. I imagine there aren't many here who'd swap a MP for a M8.2, though I have the M8 and am very happy with it.
The only trouble I have with it is it makes me lazy when it comes to developing films I've shot with my other m bodies
Do you have a decent selection of lenses to help get round the crop factor? I had thought about getting the new M9 but have decided to wait a while before I add to my digi M set.

shooting qith the 90 apo and 28mm cron asph. lenses are decent and seem to match the 8.2. one thing i like is the fact that i now have essentially a 120mm apo lens. i always wanted the extra reach. no need to crop out more distant details anymore for me.
