Big fan of Dickey Chapelle's work. And although I know many of us have not forgotten her, National Geographic did a nice piece on her:

I saw this reference to a new book about her - due in July 2023 - on another forum. I have never heard of her. I know @Out to Lunch and others have referenced her here at RFF.
