The best camera is one that still works!
I just received an OM-4 in the mail from our own FrankS in Canada and this morning was the first chance I've had to take it out of the box and have a looksee and a play with it!
Usual thing with a new camera ... the first thing you want to do is hear the shutter and feel the action of the release. Switched it to manual and ran through a few shutter speeds and after about ten or so what I thought were dry firings I noticed the rewind crank was turning ... "oh sh!t, there's film in it!"
I remember when I got my Bronica RF645 from Frank he did the same thing ... he put a roll of HP5 in it for me. I think this is a very nice thing to do when you sell someone a camera ... it adds that little bit of extra something with your purchase ... pity I didn't notice it this time though! 😛
