There's a nice article on this cycling photog who uses a Mamiya 7 to good effect.

Cool, lots of good photos there. I agree about the Mamiya 7 build though, I'd still consider getting one again though.

Jake Stangel also covered the Rapha Continental (which the photographer in the OP established) with a Mamiya 7, actually I think all of the stuff on is site is done with a 7:

Rapha appear to have been using film a fair bit lately.
The 2013 spring/summer look book was shot (at least in part) with a film Leica (M7/MP?) as can be seen here:

"I love the way that camera works and feels. I feel so good about it. I like it. I like the way it works. I like its weight, it's height, its action. I feel so good when I use it. It's like the way people talk about cars and bikes and sailboats and women and spaceships and guns and dynamite and bank robbing and breakdancing—that camera just moves right, that camera is the zone and flow incarnate."
And then:
"But. To be fair: the shutter release sucks, it feels so unsatisfactory, and the camera build sucks, it's kind of a pile of ****, like **** falls off of it all the time. But that's just details. Details are boring."
A bit contradictory, no?
Anyway, what's the Mam7's shutter release like? I had always assumed it was the same as the 6, which i used to own, and used to like (in that regard). And isn't it built like the 6? I always thought the 6 felt very solid.... Maybe he's killing these cameras by schlepping them on bicycles all over the world. Hard to tell, when people discuss 'build quality.' Some people beat their stuff to hell. I respect the gear and probably pamper it.
