Night Photography

A recent roll

A recent roll

My hometown takes on an air of mystery at night. Here are a few shots from a recent roll of Fuji Xtra 400, shot with Zeiss G28 and G45 on a Contax G1.
Some Photoshop on a few of these to compensate for underexposure.

Just got some E6 shots back from the lab. Shot with the Hasselblad and Fuji Provia.

Peter M - this is a wonderfully detailed and clean shot! Love it!

I almost forgot about the thread ;-)

Here is one from my last scanning:

A candid shot of a young loving couple in Shanghai. I took the shot right after changing film on frame "0" - talk about playing with fire with my clumsy loading and regular ruining of 00, 0 and 1 ;-)

In the 1960's I was hooked on night photography. I did alot of experimenting with taking pictures by moonlight after reading some articles. I never did quite get the quality that was in the magazine. This thread is awakening an urge to try it again.
