Night Photos back from being scanned

I got a better scan this time I think and the price was better too. I used an 80 A filter for these shots and based on the results an 80 B would have been better.

Rolleicord w/Schneider Zenar 80mm lens. Ektachrome 100 w/80A filter. F-22 @ 30 seconds for the theater shot. 2 minutes for the street shot.

Hey those are very crisp shots. I like them. Now what is an 80A, I never got around to memorizing the filter designations. Just been calling it orange or warming or whatever.

I think you are thinking of an 81A which is a warming filter. An 80A is used to convert daylight film for tungsten light . I don't care for the overly warm reddish effect usually had when shooting daylight film at night with lights so I use the 80 series filter to correct it. An A series has the least effect with a B being more so and so on. I can still see some of the warmish effect in the shot so the B would have been better.

I used my Gossen Luna Star F meter with the appropriate correction dialed in for the filter.
