Nikkor 28 3.5

I recently won an ebay auction for a Nikkor 28 3.5 lens, which arrived at the end of last week. The seller (whom I've purchased from before) is extremely reputable, and as usual, the item was exactly as he described it.
I'm waiting for the rear cap I also purchased from another seller to arrive, and made a very nice front cap from a plastic juice bottle screw cap. The front cap cost $2.00 Canadian in a local cafe, and I also got a bottle of very nice Orange Juice in the bargain.
If there is anyone here who is not offended by the thought of saving a lot of money on caps by using something other than a Genuine Nippon Kogaku, lens cap (complete of course with all the associated paperwork, radio-carbon dating results, and metallic assay to prove its authenticity) and wishes to know the details, let me know and I'll explain what I used and how I did it.
The 28mm focal length is one I've not used in about thirty years, (My SLR lens in that range is a Nikkor 24) so I took it out this weekend on my SP and shot away. I never thought I'd ever use the left-hand viewfinder on the SP, but it works very well for framing, and I was pleased with my ability to focus through the one window and frame through the other.
I'm dropping off a finished roll today and am looking forward to seeing the results. I think I might be learning to love the 28mm viewpoint once again.

Yes, it would be nice to see some pics... I just started to use the 28 3.5 by CV... Also my first 28, and I find it has a lot more wide character than a 35... I'm enjoying it a lot... Enjoy yours!

Actually, I've made both front and rear caps, but the external mount back caps are the most difficult and you need specific caps from certain product bottles to make them. Still they can be made, if you've got the skill to do so.
 
Love mine too so I got another ltm version but the rear element was too scratched up. Had to return it.
