Doubt it'll cover.
The M39 (LTM) mount was probably used just because it was easy to manufacture, if it was for some sort of scientific usage. Also many of these crazy high-speed lenses are designed for high-magnification stuff, if I remember (covering 35mm at 1:1 maybe).
But if you have the lens in hand, why don't you just find out? Put it on a camera, or, just hold up some ground glass if you have it to see the image.
I bet it would fetch a high price on eBay just for the exoticness of it. Google it and I bet you'll find some obscure collector website with info. I've seen a lot of pages about Nikkor lenses like that, like the Ultra Micro-Nikkors, etc.
