They look good, Mark. You did well by getting this lens.
This one is sharp. I've compared my early one with the "black Rim", both are quite sharp.
One trick on the collapsible Nikkor: using a lens hood also makes it easier to change the F-Stop. The mechanism does not firmly lock the lens into place like a Summar, Summitar, or Summicron. So on this lens, and on my own, holding the lens in place using the lens hood while changing the F-stop prevents the lens from rotating out of the lock position.

Brian, I did not use a hood on these shots, but agree that attaching the hood would make changing f-stops easier- I will do so next time.
Lens looks good, and I am particularly impressed with the rich color saturation and the color rendition; not too cool, and not too warm, just about perfect.
