I'm thinking about hopping from my CV 25 f/4 to a 28mm f3.5 as my "lives on the camera" day to day standard. I'd love to hear your impressions and experiences with the nikkor 2.8cm f3.5, especially in concert with an M8. I have a nikkor 5cm f1.4 and a 10.5cm f2.5 and like them both. A little differant twist, but similar. I love shooting a 28/3.5 Canon/Serenar. This lens lives on a Leica IIIG.

I seldom shoot wide open and use the DOF and scale focus to use this tiny rig as a point and shoot.

Adorama has a 28/3.5 Nikkor, but it is missing the infinity lock. They have had it for a while (more than six months). If the infinity lock isn't an issue could be a good opportunity to make an offer.
