Jon, Here is mine to add to the list. SN 208989. I love this camera but would love to have a black SP. - jim
 
Sure Fred, remind me to kick myself in the A55 again a few times for passing up a row of Nikon RFs when I pick up my first M new. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.......... Could have had a couple of SPs and a suite of wonderful glass and been happier years ahead of time........Dumb, Dumb, Dumb......

This is a multicoated version of the so-called "Olympic" 50/1.4 Nikkor-S made in late 1964.

This is a double-Gauss design and although the actual formula never was released by Nikon, you can find the schematics here and there.

But - may your question mean something else ?

No, you addressed my question well. Thank you. It is good to own a "mystery lens" for which no official formula is announced.
 
Yes, and all I said was that the lens was beautiful. I did not know then that one day I would be owning one.
And then I showed six images taken with this lens.
