Cant make up my mind.

I will be shooting Bluefire microfilm at iso 32-50, Tmax 100, maybe some tmax 400, and Delta 3200 at iso 3200, so I need a fast shutter speed for that.

I have owned a TVS II before and I found the focus to be a bit slow, and setting AP priority was fidgity from what I remember. The 28-56mm lens was superb. Slowish though at f3.5. Has a higher max shutter speed than the 35Ti, but the 35tI has a min ap of 22 vs the TVS of 16 for iso 3200 film..

Either can handle the ISO range I want to shoot.

I have never used a 35Ti.
Supposedly it has a faster AF.
35mm fixed lens is fine with me although 28mm would be handy at times.
Max shutter of 1/500 ?? I think.
Faster F2.8 lens.

I wish it has a post for a strap !!

How is the overall sharpness and corner sharpness of the 35TI wide open.

Any rate opinions wanted.

I have both. In my particular samples, the TVS iii photos are sharper higher resolution with better contrast and less vignetting. Can't say I've tested for flare. The nikon is more fun to use, though. Viewfinders are nice enough in both. I prefer my TVSiii.

I've never used the TVSII, so I'll just comment on the 35Ti. I find the sharpness more than acceptable to me. Aperture priority is a breeze to set. Nikon Matrix metering is the best in the business, and makes the 35Ti particularly good for slides. Plus, it has a well-designed analog display.

Did I mention I'm also selling one?
