Nikon F repair recommendations

For a long time, I have been putting off getting my father's old Nikon F repaired.

I just learnt Pete Smith has passed on, I was looking forward to sending him the camera.

Is there anyone who is as good as he was? In the USA?

It is a very basic camera to work on.
