Nikon Film camera repair shops

Sooner or later, it finally happened. Need some repair, probably a CLA will do it. I have been avoiding this day since my good friend, Pete Smith, the Nikonsmith, passed away.
So....I need a recommendation for a seasoned repair shop for my trusty Nikon FM. What say you?

Akiva--Jim at Vermont Camera Works is just great. His work is super, fairly priced and he has a fairly reasonable turnaround time. We visited him on our recent trip to VT, and he is a great fellow in person--and you could spend a long time in his shop! Website is vermontcamera.com

I would call Nippon Photo Clinic in NYC. A pro-oriented shop.

I use www.camerarepairs.com in Avon, INdiana....I live a 40m drive away
in business since the 1970's, repairs both film (not leica), and digital plus lenses, MF and AF

I have had all my used cameras and lens cleaned and or repaired with no return repairs.
I have a Nikon FE in his shop now for a film advance repair and a CLA....
6m warranty also

I will be sending to Bob at www.camerarepairs.com Nikon F2 I just recieved that has a sticky mirror when I use f/2.8 or faster (weird, I know),
and a self-timer repair + a general CLA.

Bob is concentrating on digital cameras now...he will still clean adjust lenses though.
email him (link above) and ask if he repair your Film camera... (no Leicas... too much trouble to be a "Leica Repair" shop with the amount of Digital business he has
because he has some very large national accounts
