Nikon FM2n and FM3A: GAS attack.

Bought this FM2n back in 1993, and the CV 40 f/2 in 2007 .

Still my favorite camera/lens. :)

I like the FE2 a lot- batteries dying have never been an issue for me
I like the classic Nikon logo (call me fickle)
And I don't see the need for the hybrid shutter

I have too many film cameras to begin with. I have always been interested in the fm3 but could never really justify the cost. its just a light box right? well last week i went to my local camera shop and saw a used but very nice fm3. didnt even think to check the price as I figured its too much. went back the next day with a lens I found in my dads old camera bag that i never used, traded it in and for an extra $50 bucks the fm3 was mine. what a deal and what a camera. I had wanted to replace my old and failing fe2 and did it in a great way. It seems much more refined than the fe2 and yet just like a younger brother. I plan on spending the next few weeks shooting it exclusively to get a better feel for it, but as of now I just shoot it like my old fe2 and it seems to me that Im not gonna have any troubles. just love the solid feel of it. reminds me a lot of my F3 with the needle meter I love from the fe2
