Nikon L35AF

They seem to command a pretty good price on the big auction site. One just went for $107.00. Another for $139.00. Of course that's on the high end. A clean working one would easily bring $75.00.

Yeah, I agree. Mine was $8 plus shipping from an online thrift store. That 'cult classic' label can really jack up the price.

I see one on Shopgoodwill.com right now for $8.99 and it has one bid on it with four days to go. It's mislabeled, which is probably why it's so cheap.

I haven't seen one at a thrift store for some time, but people seem to find them from time to time. That might be a good place to look, just to see if one pops up sometime.

I have the L35 AF1, 2 and 3, and I love other people's shots from them, I've just somehow never got around to getting rolls through mine, I really need to fix that

Hi,

I think everything turns up it charity shops at a silly price sooner or later. It's mostly a mater of looking and looking and looking. I knew someone in Scotland who found a IIIc for ten pounds...

The main problem with CS cameras is that the batteries and a half used film are usually left in the camera and getting the batteries out and dealing with the corrosion can be a PITA. It's put me off the last two Nikons I found.

Regards, David

I had one of these in my possession a few years back, picked it up... somewhere for a nominal amount. Sadly it had some kind of error where as soon as batteries were in it just wound and wound the film in it. Seeing these results I wish I'd made more effort to get it working properly.
