Not all, just certain batches containing dibutyl phthalate that can cause a number of health issues... Not bad customer service for a 16 year old camera!

It’s 152 cameras. This is what pre-occupies the unelected Brussels Mandarins.

lol, the one time I agree with you.
Don't that have anything better to do, ya know, considering what is going on right now?

You wonder how much it's going to cost Nikon to recall 152 cameras. And what if the owner doesn't agree to the recall?

We are actually doing quite fine (especially more to the North of Europe) with all the “what is going on now”... And this is one of the things I like about Europe - consumer protection. We may go over the board sometimes, but it only proves the concept works.

... except that they ARE elected. Your use of the gently pejorative term "mandarin" suggests that you have swallowed the standard propaganda, put out by the anti-EU media.
Many of us in the UK appreciated and valued the EU's dedication to looking out for people's health and well-being, and I, for one, am saddened and angered that a decades-long barrage of misinformation has resulted in the UK voting to leave. However, leave, we have - and I reckon in the fullness of time, we'll be regretting it........ (if we aren't, already).

I bought my F6 brand new in 2018, and all the recalled cameras are later serial numbers than mine, so I wouldn't say they're recalling 16 year old cameras, I'd say they had a bad batch recently and are correcting the issue.

The thing about Nikon recalls is I never hear about them from Nikon.
I only hear about them because I waste too much time on the internet, arguing with people I don't know...
Seriously though, I registered my Nikon D750, D 850 and Z7 with Nikon USA. And when they had recalls, or firmware updates, Nikon never contacted me to let me know. They have my email address, phone #, camera serial #s etc.
So, wonder what the point of registering with them is?

It might be for warranty purposes, if you need the camera serviced while it is still under the warranty period. But I know what you mean, I've never been notified by Nikon about any recall, firmware updates, etc. I always hear about them on the forums.
