Handheld at low shutter speed is a big problem to me though.
f/3.5 seems slightly too slow.

13.5cm f3.5 Nikkor is one of the sharpest, nicest lenses ever. Unfortunately, you can't really go faster than f3.5 and maintain accurate RF focusing. The ergonomics of the lens also are a little weirdly thin, so that it attracts some attention. It really wants to be fatter, like a 105/2.5. But the images are quite nice, the lens is cheap, and the black barrel version is light enough to throw into the camera bag for the extra reach.

Beautiful pictures. Now I'm tempted to get mine out of the bag and actually use it. I've been away from that focal length for some time.
