The old style Nikon RF 3.5cm f3.5 had no filter threads, maybe it took a slip on type filter.
the (starting in 1954) new style 3.5cm f3.5 Nikon RF lens took a 43mm sized filter.
an internal thread does not necessarily mean it is for mounting a filter.
some internal threads are there to mount the lens module assembly and or label ring.
For the 1st version Nikon mount 3.5cm f 3.5 lens, no filter size is listed in Robert Rotoloni's Nikon Rangefinder book.
