Is there any love for the Nikon RF 5cm f3.5 Micro lens?
Is the formula or drawing ability identical to the SLR Nikkor 50mm f3.5 Micro lens? I assume the formula had to be adjusted for the longer backfocal distance of the SLR lens.
I'm looking at mine, and pondering whether I should find it a new home, and pay off a bunch of recent gear purchases.

Nikkor. What else?
Is there any love for the Nikon RF 5cm f3.5 Micro lens?
There certainly is, although I have never handled one.
Are there any pictures of the lens and/or pictures taken with this lens you could share with us ?

The lens is in the classifieds. Hope to find a new loving and appreciative owner.

Cha-ching!
As far as the formula, the Nikkors shorter than 85mm didn't have enough room between the rear element and the mirror so Nikon had to make them retrofocal. The original 10.5cm f/2.5 in F mount was simply the same lens from the rangefinder with the auto-aperture mechanism added. The 135, 180 and 250mm lenses were all usable on the F with the short-mount helicoid (the 180, 250 and longer lenses were also used on Bronica S mount cameras with a similar helicoid setup.)
It would be an interesting collection to have a Nikon SP, F and Bronica S2a as well as all the lenses that all those systems shared with their different helicoid adapters. Quite an undertaking just to find that gear.
