I somewhat practice the two-adapter method but I take it further in that I've converted my S mount lenses to M mount with functional rangefinder coupling.

Interesting thread. I just got a Fotasy adapter for attaching LTM lenses to Nikon Z. I haven't explored S-mount to Z adapters yet. Sounds like the double (S to M-mount and M to Z) may be the best.

FYI, forum member Richard Haw has some digital samples (I believe all on Sony NEX5 and A7) from Nikon RF lenses, using the Amedeo adapter. They are within his repair articles. Perhaps he has some more that he would post for us!

Is anyone still doing lens conversions to Leica M mount? I have a junked Konica Auto S3 whose lens is still fine. I would love it if it could be reused. I asked Japan Camera Hunter a while ago, but at the time Mr. Miyasaki was not interested in such a project.
