Hi folks,
I start to appreciate shooting the S2 and S3 cameras I have.
However one thing drives me mad with using the standard 50mm lenses: the infinity lock.
I understand the lock helps when removing the lens but in pure logic the spring should tension the lock the other way around:
Leave the focus unlocked at all times except when pushing the button.
I have temporaily un-locked the button at all times on the front face of the body with a rubber band and tighten it around the right hand eyelet, in such a way not to use anything which could scratch the body.
I am wondering if the damn spring could not be reversebly removed in order to inhibit the OEM function?
