I just tried this out, but it's not the way to go if you want to build a BBCode link so that the photo dropped in your Google Drive account will be embedded in a post on this forum. Dead end.
For now you can untick the strong security box of your Firefox to see the photos, as explained above. The risk is absolutely nil.
From my home computer using Firefox, the photos display instantly with no problem. From another computer I used today, on which Firefox is a newer version with their last hard security options, I had the broken link icons before I disabled the "Block the harmful websites" box to see the photos.
No big deal, at the end of the day.
