its easy to replace cloth S2 curtains with titanium Nikon F curtains.

I even have a S4 with titanium curtains! Seems to be fairly common to raid dead F's for them. Less chance of burning holes too in strong sunlight.

If I ever get my Nikon S back fron Ken Ruth it is supposed to have F curtains. <sigh>

When I have burnt holes in my Nikon RF my local repair replaced the cloth curtains with new cloth ones. He had dozens of them new so I didnt think it was that rare to get cloth ones, I would have thought the titanium conversion was more expensive.

Yes the do but thats simply because they replace the cloth within the original metal border.
