Nikon S3 or S4 or What ?

This is being auctioned as an S3, but is missing the timer lever
by the serial number , it's an S3 - what do you experts make of this ?

It looks to me like the timer was removed and recovered. There seems to be a weird bump where the timer should be.

I don't have one to compare it to though...just an S2 and SP.

I think that photo shows the camera in the ad vs. an Olympic S3.

Google translate leads me to believe it was "sold in the Nikon S3 that has been converted into professional it was not. " Converted to remove the timer?
