Hello,

recently, I've found the exposure meter that was produced to be mounted on the S3/SP cameras.

It looks well working, but I would like to know what should be the procedure to follow, to mount/couple it to the camera, since any research of the instructions was unsuccessful.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

Enzo (Italy)

Mounting Nikon SP meter

Mounting Nikon SP meter

The meter mounts on the shoe from the front. You slide it on carefully around the front flash contact pin. A spring clip on the left will engage to lock it on on the shoe. Once on, press the spring-loaded meter body to the left to disengage the meter from the shutter-speed dial. While doing this, rotate the dial of the meter until the arrow points to the same shutter speed as you have the camera set to. Allow the meter to return to the right and engage the serrated edge of the shutter speed dial. Every time you change the shutter speed, the meter's top dial will move with the speed dial.
To remove, press the lock release on the left and slide the meter forward until it comes off. That's it.
Questions? Cheers, WES LODER

Thank you Wes, now, I understand how mounting the light meter works. I didn't know that rotation, in order to synchronise the time set on the camera and on the light meter.

I've just mounted the little device on my S3 and everything works now.

All the best,

Enzo
