I just purchased a very nice SP and lens from a fellow RFF'er
Here's a sample shot using an 8.5cm Nikkor P , fairly wide open
Using HP5+

I really don't like this film, it just doesn't work for me
Anyway now I have a good nikon kit. Time to get out and use it

Not sure if it's me or the circumstances but I find HP5+ too "creamy" seems naturally weight towards the light end of the tones. in the picture above it worked out, but in general the negs look overall darker than other films I shoot

I've always liked the look of the Nikkor 85/2 - you caught some great expressions, although it looks like the boy (your son?) is recovering from a little mishap to his right wrist.

Hope you're enjoying the camera! :D

Thanks Paul. You should know the lens and camera well :)
The subject are my wife and son, who broke his arm a couple weeks ago.
They are my usual test subjects
