Where did you get/make the glass? How thick is it?
Great fix, this was a common problem.

1.1mm thick, I have a friend who has all the tools and equipment for precise cuts, so he does the work.
I just provide the measurements and the blast cabinet!

Is the original just plain optical glass, or is it coated?1.1mm thick, I have a friend who has all the tools and equipment for precise cuts, so he does the work.I just provide the measurements and the blast cabinet!
Plain, as is the replacement. Can do coated as well but the owner didn't want to spend more for coated.

Very good to see that it can be repaired and that someone is doing it. Congratulations!!
What I am particularly interested in is: does this crack in the glass affect the view through the viewfinder very much or is it more of a cosmetic defect?

The location of this glass break affected the 28/35 view with an annoying shadow, the 50+ view was minimally affected on the left side while framing
