I am still having issues accessing the classifieds. The rest of the site works fine, but every time I open the classifieds page, I am logged out. When I log back in, it takes me to the home page. Then I click on "classifieds" and when that page opens, I am logged out again. The "remember me" doesn't change any of that.

I have tried Safari, Firefox, and Edge with no luck. I do not wish to download another browser.

I would like to buy and sell.

I think you should fix this Stephen.

What operating system?

Is anyone else having this problem?

I am having no classified probs with Edge.

I have been experiencing the same thing. In Mac Safari I can be logged in, click on classifieds and open a new window, and in that that new window, I'm logged out.

Works on Chrome, however.

Close all tabs and quit safari cmd+q. Reopen Safari and try again. Safari has a weird thing that if you ever used a private window it tends to open new tabs the same way and that will keep a site from not knowing it is you.

If that were the case, then it would always do the same thing with any link, but it only happens when opening a new window or tab from the classified link.

Even just a standard click on the classifieds link (i.e., not a right click to open a new window or tab) will result in the browser showing classifieds but the account is no longer logged in.

About a month ago I was running into the same issue. It was right after I posted a classified ad. Then it resolved itself. I'm using an older version of Safari (11.1) for a web browser.

not sure what is going on, but I have the tech guys looking into it

Thanks for bringing this up,

Stephen

Placed an ad today with no problem but can't access the Product Options feature either in Safari or Firefox. The drop down menu never appears.

Currently, to access Product Option, check the Profile tab. When the tab opens your ad will appear, click on it and when it opens you can use the drop down menu. Not the easiest way to do it but it worked.

Profile tab? Can't seem to find that. :)

After logging in if you click on the Latest Member As tab. It opens a bar with Home, My Ads, Subscriptions, Profile and Messages. If you have a current ad it will appear in your profile. Click on that and you can access the drop down menu to make changes to your ad. It’s a pretty arcane way of accessing it but it works.

That doesn't work for me. Clicking on "Latest Member Ads" simply opens the classifieds, and I'm logged out, so there is no link to "My Ads."

This *does* work on Chrome, but then again, this classified bug doesn't happen with Chrome anyway.

What I’m confused about is opening the My Ads tab and no ads are shown. Mostly I use the latest release of Safari for both OS and IOS, occasionally Firefox and have the same problems with both browsers.

Folks, thanks for the effort.

I have techs looking into this.

For me, for unknown reasons, RFF is working for me on Windows better on Edge than any other browser.

Will be posting good news about the classifieds later this morning.

The RFF Classified Pandemic Sale!

It was working using Chrome but when I went to update and mark an item sold, now even Chrome isn’t working

watch out for FIREFOX enhanced tracking protection !!

watch out for FIREFOX enhanced tracking protection !!

OK folks, the recently introduced FIREFOX enhanced tracking protection is breaking many sites - until you deactivate it for that site

for example, ebay will not allow me to sign in with FIREFOX enhanced tracking protection ON

How to turn it off?

Look in the URL window and notice there is a SHIELD to the LEFT of the HTTPS LOCK

click that shield and a FIREFOX menu comes up

turn FIREFOX enhanced tracking protection OFF for RFF

ok now, I think you will find placing RFF classifieds easier now with FIREFOX

Best to All,
Stephen
