was the CV 35mm f1.7 Ultron ever made to fit the Nikon RF cameras ?
if not, does anyone know why this lens was never made for these cameras?

Nope. I wish CV had released some lenses that aren't duplicates of affordable Nikkors. Sales weren't spectacular, and lots of unsold stock remains.
If CV had fitted the 35/1.2, the 35/1.7, and the 28/1.9 in Nikon-S mount, I bet sales would have been a different story.

One of the problems with Cosina/Voigtlander is that their is no brochures, and very little advertising to get the word out to the public. There are a few magazine articles, but for the most part most people have never heard of Cosina/Voigtlander. What a shame. I enjoy my Voigtlander R2S cameras ane I am currently using Voigtlander 15mm, 21mm, 25mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm f2, 50mm f1.7, 50mm f3.5 and 85mm f3.5 lenses. I also use 105mm f2.5 and 135mm f3.5 Nikon lenses. Th 15mm is being used with a Voigtlander F S/C ring. What a system. Am I sorry that I sold some of my Nikon rangefinder, not at all. I also use the Nikon F system and Contax G system cameras and lenses.
