No Email notification any longer ?

Hi to all,

I have been off for a week or so, since I am back I notice E-mail notification does not work . I get NO E-Mails at all from the RFF threads where I had posted ?
Checked my user CP ,all sttings o.k., logged out and in again, does not work tho.
A general prob or just something concerning me personally ?

Probably a general problem, I think I recall this being mentioned before right after the most recent changes Jorge made.

Well, if most recent means within the last 6 days or so I could have missed it indeed.
So nobody gets mail at the time I assume ?

6 days, I am not aware of changes in the last 6 days. We will have to wait until Jorge sees this.

Did you get an e-mail urging you to vote in the HCB contest the other day? If not, I suggest you PM Jorge - perhaps in the server migration your info (and probably others) got waylaid.

I have not had any emails related to my posts in the last couple of weeks, since the revamping of the site and server switch. I actually prefer it this way, as it saves me the trouble of separately unsubscribing from the thread.

I'm still getting e-mail notifications of postings to threads that I am subscribed to, so I don't think it is a "general" problem.

I did, and I got notifications 'til the 23rd, since then rien ne va plus.

The 23rd sounds like around the time of the final server migration. Perhaps something got "glitched" in the transfer process. I don't use the thread notification system so don't know if it affected me.

Sounds like time for a PM to the Head Cheese.

Talkign about notifications, why aren't there anymore notifications for comments in the gallery??

I still get notifications from thread replies.
What I miss:
- notifications from gallery comments.
- The specific tags for camera/film etc when uploading.

It would be great if the thumbnail not only listed the number of comments, but also the date of the last comment. It would save opening the thumbnail unnecessarily if one's memory is as bad as mine is.

I thought it was just me. I'm glad others are having the same problem. Well, not glad, but you know what I mean.
I haven't received an email from RFF for quite a while. I found out that everybodys post subscriptions got deleted to try to fix the problem, but I still haven't gotten any since.
