Scary to consider how I treat my M2, and then seeing how fragile and delicate it looks inside.
When I have a job confirmed as a permanent post, I'll be sending to to Malcolm Taylor who will probably wince in pain at the site of my M2. It's a user, but that's because I use it and not very nicely

I uploaded some shots, started two threads (on drive-by shooting pictures and converting C-41 to B&W in photoshop) and contributed to an old project thread I started last January, called Shoot those Lyrics.

I went to a camera show today (Second Sunday, Wayne, NJ), armed with a check book and an ATM card. In honor of no-gear Sunday, I didn't buy anything. I thought about buying something, but I won't talk about it. The seller wasn't friendly enough -- in fact, he was almost argumentative. Nice item. Price was probably okay. But, it's no-gear Sunday, so my lips are sealed.

Over the past few days, I have scanned negatives that have been waiting for months for me to get a new scanner; I have developed rolls of film and scanned those negatives. I have edited 250 or more negs in total, and I have edited 100 or so digital "prints" from those negs. Whew ...
Here are my favorites from among that pile for your perusal and critique. There is no technical info with the pics.

Felt lousy today so I stayed home and worked on repairing cameras instead. I really wanted to get out and take some shots as I am out of negatives to develop.
On the positive side, I have an SLR lens that works again, a folder that may have a straight front standard and a rangefinder with a self timer that doesn't stick. At least that's something. I'll try to make up this Sunday next week.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed yesterday's forum.
I appreciate gear talk has its place and long may it continue, but it was a very enjoyable day looking at pictures.

This should be easy. I probably won't be anywhere that has internet access. Grinning.
I was right. And I spent a most enjoyable weekend. Saturday was devoted to scanning my latest roll of Kodachrome. Sunday was miserable. I had to endure BBQ, beer, BBQ, football, wine, and taking pictures of friends doing the same. Then I processed all the photos last night. Delivery is later today.

Ugh, why would you do that? Don't you want to talk about the new Noctiultrosumminon f.0005? Or what about the M24? Strangers on the Internet want to talk to you about these things!

Nope. My only gear question revolves around which of my 3 85-90 lenses to keep. Sell at least one. Maybe 2. I'll figure it out one these days.
I have 3 Nikkor 8.5cm F2's alone. LTM, S-Mount, Contax RF Mount. And an 85/2 in F-Mount. but that is different.

Brian,
I have more stuff than I can ever use. I reckon I'll keep the oldest, 8.5cm Nikkor circa 1950 something, and the newest, 90mm Elmarit-M circa 2003. Sell the 90mm Elmarit circa 1965. If I were to sumble upon a really nice, really affordable, Nikkor 85/2.0 in F mount I would buy it. Then look for an F-3 to hold it.
YIKES! Gear talk in the no gear talk thread. I'll be shunned.
