Amedeo gave me an adapter for using a Voigtlaender 50/1.5 Prominent mount on the Leica M9. Would such an adapter also work well on the M9 with a 50/2 Ultron (Prominent) or is the adapter created to work only with one specific lens?

I do not own an Ultron, but I may get one if you can convince me that the Amedeo adapter should work with it correctly too.

I thought of doing so, but he is a busy man, so I did not do it.
However, since few people here may own such an adapter and also own both 50mm lenses, I better try to contact Amedeo about it.

You'll get the straight and correct answer if you go to the source. Unfortunately I don't trust information from the Internet and have learned the hard way that it's often not accurate.

I trust RFF members who actually own the lenses they discuss here. If someone here would say to me that she/he owns the Nokton and the Ultron and that they can focus well on the M camera with the Amedeo adapter, then that would be trustworthy.

You don't think so?

The experience level and expectations range from one extreme to the other. Looking at people's photos and reading posts show me that not all opinions are equal. Reading post here and other forums reveals if you ask 10 people that own the same item their opinion you'll get an array of opinions depending on expectations and experience.

This could be true, but usually there is little more that I could do than ask the question and then try to learn from the different answers.
