Of course color is nice where it's an important part of the scene, e.g. foliage, flowers, colorful dress, colorful scenes so I would not stop shooting color. Developing color negative film with C41 kits and making RA4 color prints is enjoyable, not difficult, and the quality is excellent.

Here We Go Again
Here We Go Again
I shoot both digital color and film. The choice is a matter of purpose and intent. If I want to make a journalistic record I'm all for digital.
If I'm out stalking compositions and I want to make art it must be film. Here's a couple from the same shoot...

If you can't see the difference, by all means, stay with digital for everything.

Analog Preferred
For own work - I still prefer Ektar 100 or Portra 160 over digital depending on the look I want.
That said - with closing of many local color processors, the convenience of digital and extra work flow to scan color film, I can clearly see why many folks don't find color film personally worth the effort.
In the past years - I've seen many of my favorite color films disappear. Others like Fuji 400H have really gone up in price.

B/W film is so gorgeous! I shoot mostly digital but i recognize film can be beaten by digital.
I certainly don't recognize this.
