A quick look through my pictures for something with a boat/nautical/water theme didn't turn up much... My apologies for the crappy contribution to this crappy thread. 😉
Nice photos. Really great color considering the light. Did you photoshop it for that? By putting them side by side, I momentarily thought they were stiched.
Water? I've got a load of water shots! Before retirement my work was in oceanographic research.
A couple shots from mid Pacific with my sea going camera, a little 3f Leica with 50mm Elmar and 35mm Summaron.
B&W shot was on the way back from ocean station Papa off the Canadian West Coast. Three weeks of standing watches and measuring CO2 in the air and sea water....
Colour one is aboard one of the NOAA ships as a sediment trap is recovered. The colour of the water is correct and not enhanced. Looking down into the blue abyss is a sight not soon forgotten.

Thanks,
A rainy day in Newport, Oregon. They were shot from about the same spot one facing east and the other west. Film was Velvia 50 and they were scanned using a Nikon LS-5000. A very small amount of post processing in Photoshop. I kicked up saturation by about +10 as I remember. Velvia 50 is pretty rich and I shoot it almost always when I shoot color.
The lens helped. I have a ZI 50mm C-Sonnar on the camera most of the time and it really gives me the look I want
