I had anxiety for years, anticipating that one day the terminals of my spare camera battery might short circuit in my trouser pocket if I carried coins in the same pocket....

A battery did short circuit in my pocket once. I removed it quickly when I realized it was getting hot. Others were in the room at the time but no one cared.

I like to shoot film with my old (and good) film cameras, but sometimes I feel the need of a good digital...because not always I like to scan...and I have no more a darkroom...

...

Long story short: I still shoot film and scan, my only digital camera is a now six years old X1 with dust on the sensor...maybe one day...🙂

Dave - hasn't the small camera bag that you fix to your belt got a smaller pocket for a battery? Perhaps you use braces to hold up your trousers? Perhaps you don't wear trousers ...... !

John, if I used the battery pockets on my bag, I would not have been driven to be so inventive, nor would i have had a good tale to tell.

And yes, I *do* wear trousers.
