Ned, I gotta say: I just love your work! I first saw your pictures in the LFI mag, and I just think it's so great!
They can say whatever they want about the emperor's new clothes and all that, but the most important thing is: if the lens makes you take better photos, that's all that counts. I can't deny that I'm lusting for a Noctilux myself now, although I don't think I can ever see myself spending that much (at least not until the quality of my work justifies it..).

Great photos Erik! The original of the first one is fine, as is the edited one. I think that with the Noctilux, you can spend less time photoshopping, and more time photographing, including all night!

Finally at home...
Yeah, there might be lenses that are "sharper" at f2.8 or something, others might produce a better bokeh or whatever, but there is no other lens that is as versatile as this one. I wish I had an M7 with the Noctilux.

Excellent shots, Erik, and of course Ned also. I too find myself pining for a Noctilux, and have been for about a year and a half. Unfortunately, prices seem to have almost doubled in that period of time. Makes me wonder what the heck is going on. Will prices ever be lower? Maybe I could sell one of those kidneys. I don't really need 2, after all.
