Noctilux Photos

@ Erik, these are nice ! :) Seems that you like this lens.

@ Ned: The atmosphere in your snow-storm photo is stunning, excellent as usual.

I only wish that my Noctilux will come back from service soon ... :bang::eek:

I do love the look of the Canon 0.95, but as Erik states you need to send the camera you'll be using it with for adjustment. This is the reason I just sold mine to a friend since I work with four M8s and if I need to swap lenses in the middle of a wedding, I don't have the time to ensure I am coupling the perfectly calibrated M8 with the 0.95...

Cheers,

Riccis

Hey, thanks everybody for the warm wishes :-D!!! Yes, it's my little boy, born 2 days ago.

Mike: I would have no objection to call him Nocti, except that in serbian Nocti means "finger nails"... HeH!

Congratulations Ned! Just 7 months ago I was in the same situation. There's nothing like it, that's for sure :)

May I ask you what kind of film you use, by the way?

Hey thanks for the warm wishes! "Hospital street photography" ? LOL!

Here are some new ones from this past winter I am presently scanning... Thank God it's over!

Arnulf,

Sorry for answering so late!

I used TMAX3200 for the last shots (hospital) and snow storm. I like the film a lot! Especially in the dark room. It seems to me it's like Tri-X was 15 years ago. Gorgeous grain. My 8x10 wet prints are gorgeous! I also use APX100 and Plus-X a lot lately.
