Thanks Helen. It's not a new lens, I've owned it for a while, but I really need to shoot with it more often. It mates very well with the M8. The M8 is starting to grow on me, but it's still not the same as shooting with the MP 😀.

And don't worry about the cell calls - always nice to know that you're close by... 😉

PS: Its neither as big nor as heavy as some say. Balances perfectly on my MP which sports a Leica handle. The throw is long, but this is expected.

Now that you have it, the best thing to do is to enjoy it and stop reading posts about it 😉 I think that Gabor's is permanently attached to his hip 😀

If the new Nokton 1.1 is any good, the Nocti may become available at much better prices. The lens draws like no other. If you like the look, you may have a chance to snap one up at a good price in the near future...

That is what I am hoping for even though I just placed an order for the new Nokton this morning with Mainline in Sydney. The Noctilux has a unique look.

Beautiful photographs, especially like the gull. That took either a lot of luck or patience. Maybe both!

... not permanently but ~ 90% of the time 😀 Today, it is not. I brought my 35mm Summilux-M + 90mm Summicron-M, want to take some snaps of a live event in a small bar.

I really like the black & white shot of the chap in the hat, makes me wonder what he is pondering! Great shots from everybody too, I don't have a Noctilux but have just taken delivery of a rather nice 50mm Summilux Pre ASPH V2 from 1962. I'm looking forwards to posting some shots in the relevant thread soon...
